Which (not knowing all that much about copiers) leads me to believe that the Kyocera would be better since it would be able to process pdfs faster, which would outweigh the faster ppm numbers from the Canon. The Canon has faster ppm numbers, but the Kyocera has a better processor speed and memory amount. This is where I'm unsure of what direction we should go in. Our company will use this machine as a network printer, and we will print around one hundred to three hundred pdfs a month - mostly in the 11 x 17 format - so we'd like something that is fast enough to handle this. The Kyocera is being offered to us for about $1,000 more that the Canon.

We received quotes from a few vendors, and it's come down to either a Canon ImageRUNNER 2535i or a Kyocera TASKalfa 300i. We're in the process of replacing an older copier machine at the office.
